VH1 has posted details about the upcoming second season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.
Personally I am happy to hear that Steven Adler from the original Guns N’ Roses lineup will be on the show. I was a big fan of Adler during his days with GNR. In fact most of my early drumming knowledge was from learning his style and playing along with the Appetite for Destruction album the summer between my freshman and sophomore year of high school.
It is good to know that there are places like Orovo detox for people struggling with addiction issues. And I really hope that Dr. Drew is able to help Steven out.

been banging on my drums since friday (not too much banging as I was getting things up and working.) my first diy edrum is now playable, I haven’t soldered down the wires as I am still considering rewrapping the shells to eliminate all the holes from the old hardware. I will start working on converting the toms to edrums over the next couple of weeks. but here is a picture of my edrums so far…

I got my drum module. Thanks to the good people (Thank You J.K.) at Guitar Center. I am now the owner of a Roland TD-10 Drum Module.
And Dave Ramsey would be proud. I paid no where near retail

What would we do without digital cameras?
My drums arrived today and after only three or so hours of unpacking and setting up I finally got them all plugged in and hooked up a pair of 2.1 desktop speakers (2 speakers with a subwoofer). Currently everything is in the dining room and everyone wants to play it right now…
I got some work to do. I need to get back to practicing and need to learn a bit more about the Alesis DM5. Also I am working on converting an acoustic snare to a dual triggered snare.
The set is exactly what I was looking for - a steal of a bargain, and something that I can practice on while I save up to build it out and upgrade. Aside from finishing the snare drum, I need to figure out if the hihat pedal works, I need a better kick pedal and I would really like to swap the Alesis for a Roland drum module.
