I am finding myself looking forward to Friday’s and Saturday’s more and more over the last couple of weeks/months. This is when my attention shifts momentarily away from work and school to getting things ready for our community gathering.
I don’t think I have ever been this excited and just pumped up about church and the path that things are going in.

I think is test is more biased to Republican/Democrat comparision.
My brother sent me a link to a online photo album that has a bunch of pictures from New Orleans. Some very amazing pictures that show the power of the storm, the devastation, etc.
A few personal comments…
Trees don’t stand up to wind very well.
It is amazing what a ‘ton’ of bricks does to a car.
The statue between the two cars is ‘in to’ the road.
The story about the Honda Civic by the Hyatt is amazing.
The survival of the statue at St. Louis Cathedral is pretty cool.
The city didn’t start to decline until the flood came.
I want to know what is on the Winn Dixie endcap that is almost untouched.

Anyone out there done any basement water proofing? I need some advice…
I have patched the cracks (most of them) with the hydraulic cement. But I would also like to have a finished look, the problem is that there is already paint and skim on the wall. Do I need to blast it off to the cement or should I just leave it as is and put the basement back together? Pictures or tour are available.
Well it looks like I am not going to Philly now. There isn’t enough equipment available for our tests due to real disasters. So there is no reason for a bunch of us to go. Guess I didn’t need to eat those cheesesteaks anyway. The only thing that stinks is that I won’t be saving gas while my car is sitting at the airport. Maybe I can work from home for a few days this week. Oh yeah, my annual review is tomorrow.
Feeling ucky, got a dozey of a head cold. Tomorrow I gotta finish my recovery test of one of our firewalls so I am more familiar with it for the DR test. Speaking of, I am on the first flight on Wednesday, leaving Cincy at 8:30am. Which means I get to Philly at like 10:45 or so. And then I get to hurry up and wait for the rest of the crew to fly over. I will probably end up either sleeping in my hotel room or wandering the streets of philly (looking for another cheese steak)
And to top of the week, we begin our group project for school this week and I am the PM. Oh joy!
