My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of Iraq regime has been completed.
Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.
This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq. This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now to begin the reckoning.
Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short. The United Kingdom, Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, and Poland are some of the countries listed there.
The other list contains everyone not on the first list. Most of the world’s nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.
Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war.
The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hellholes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.
Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France.
In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home. On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.
Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France, or maybe China.
I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France, Germany, and Russia. Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well. Bon chance, mes amis.
I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don’t care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York.
A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.
Mexico is also on List 2. President Fox and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra tank and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put em? Yep, border security.
Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty – starting now.
We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we’ll be drilling for oil in Alaska – which will take care of this country’s oil needs for decades to come. If you’re an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there. They care.
It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, “darn tootin.”
Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America. It is time to eliminate homelessness in America. To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thank you guys. We owe you and we won’t forget.
To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

“You are creeping me out”

Tonight after our gathering I headed back to Hamilton and stopped by Kroger to get some liquid energy, they had DC for $.88 earlier this week. Well the sale was over and since I am short on the $ till payday I picked up some BigK for $.59/2Liter.
As I walked out of the store I took a few things back to the library box that I still had in the car and overhead one of the baggers comment about only him and another guy were the only two to bring in all the carts.
So without saying a word I started pushing carts into the store. After the second line of carts I started getting looks. And once the guy noticed that I was continuing he kept a watchful eye on me. At one point he even asked, “Do you work here?”
“Nope.” As I pushed more carts up to the store. After I finished getting all the carts from around the perimeter of the lot, I went back to the cart corals and started pushing another line of carts to the store.
“Why are you doing this”
“Need some exercise, nothing else to do right now.”
“You are creeping me out, why would a customer be so nice”
“Well, I work at the data center, but I’ll give you the other reason in a minute”
So as I pushed the last three carts in the lot up to the front of the store I handed Clayton a Journey card.
As I walked back from where the carts were stacked up I was greeted with a big smile. I shook Clayton’s hand and told him to have a great night.
Got in the car and drove home to where I am now enjoying my Big K Diet Citrus Drop on the rocks.

Our days are mundane.
Our lives aren’t small.

This is funny…

Well it wasn’t even an hour after the family hit the road for Tennessee and I am missing them all.
The house is too quiet without them and too loud with them. At least when they are all here I can at least try and get the noise level lower. Got 60% of the lawn mowed before dark and I have two rooms completed (granted it is the smallest bathroom and the mud/back entry room) Now I am getting some work down so I don’t have as much to do tomorrow.
Speaking of work, I think there will be two of us in the office tomorrow, and I think three out of about 15 of us aren’t taking vacation tomorrow. I guess summer has now arrived.
Hope to get out to a driving range tomorrow afternoon/evening. And get a good round in on Saturday morning, maybe Sunday, we shall see how the weekend goes. I got some big plans but we will have to see what happens. Still waiting to hear from the family that they got down south ok……….

All kidding aside. V3 has been a pipe dream for a mighty long time and now it is finally beginning to be shipped. I hope someone in the community will get us a copy. It has some great additional features that will help to carry our AV stuff until we can get this and some of these.

Dana Elcar, the round-faced, balding actor whose real-life struggle with blindness was written into his role on the TV adventure series “MacGyver,” has died. He was 77.
He died Monday of complications from pneumonia at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, his family said.

Sen. John F. Kerry’s grade average at Yale University was virtually identical to President Bush’s record there, despite repeated portrayals of Kerry as the more intellectual candidate during the 2004 presidential campaign.

Kerry had a cumulative average of 76 and got four Ds his freshman year — in geology, two history courses and political science, The Boston Globe reported Tuesday.
His grades improved with time, and he averaged an 81 his senior year and earned an 89 — his highest grade — in political science as a senior. Notice no cumulative grade average, only an individual year average for freshman and senior year.

In 1999, The New Yorker magazine published a transcript showing Bush had a cumulative grade average of 77 his first three years at Yale what was his average during his Freshman year, so it can be compared to Kerry’s, and a similar average under a non-numerical rating system his senior year.
Bush’s highest grade at Yale was an 88 in anthropology, history and philosophy is an 88 in three classes better than an 89 in one class? What year did Bush get these high marks? Notice that Bush’s top grade, in 3 classes, is not in his major.. He received one D in his four years Kerry had 4 Ds his freshman year, a 69 in astronomy If Bush got a low grade in astronomy, does that mean he doesn’t have his head in the clouds?, and improved his grades after his freshman year, the transcript showed. Don’t we all?

UPDATE
I failed to mention that there is no mention in the article about how Kerry stopped his postsecondary education after getting his bachelors. Bush went on to get an MBA. In fact President George W. Bush is the very first President to hold a Masters Degree in Business Administration. And his MBA is from Harvard Business School, not an easy school in the least. In fact I think I recall hearing about how Harvard prides itself on only accepting the cream of the crop.
