Is it Meme to be Tagged?

Author: utech  //  Category: Consistently Chili

Brasic tagged me!

The idea behind this one is that, when tagged, you choose 5 occupations (or more) from the list below and complete the sentence with it describing what you would do as a member of that profession. If you have more occupations to add, you add them at the bottom following the “If I could be…” format. I am adding my additions to the bottom.

After your done, you get to go and tag 3 other people. Add a trackback to the one that tagged you as well as a trackback to Ogre’s original post.

If I could be a scientist…
If I could be a farmer…
If I could be a musician…
If I could be a doctor…
If I could be a painter…
If I could be a gardener…
If I could be a missionary…
If I could be a chef…
If I could be an architect…
If I could be a linguist…
If I could be a psychologist…
If I could be a librarian…
If I could be an athlete…
If I could be a lawyer…
If I could be an innkeeper…
If I could be a professor…
If I could be a writer…
If I could be a llama-rider…
If I could be a bonnie pirate…
If I could be a service member…
If I could be a photographer…
If I could be a philanthropist…
If I could be a rap artist…
If I could be a child actor…
If I could be a secret agent…
If I could be a comedian/comedienne…
If I could be a priest…
If I could be a radio announcer…
If I could be a phlebotomist…
If I could be a pet store owner…
If I could be a computer programmer…
If I could be a police officer…
If I could be a politician…
If I could be a mom…
If I could be an underwater basket weaver…
If I could be a reality TV host…
If I could be a forensic pathologist…
If I could be independently wealthy…

And now for my choices….

If I could be a musician…I could buy a drumset and play it more often.
If I could be a missionary…I would preach the gospel to the traditional church.
If I could be a chef…I would offer an in-home service to make meals for people.
If I could be a radio announcer…I would be sued by Glenn Beck for being a copycat.
If I could be a psychologist…I would tell people to ‘STOP IT’.
If I could be independently wealthy… I would be a stay at home dad and help churches with their A/V stuff.

Now… to tag three people?

The Gaither Vocal Band wrote a song a number of years ago titled “Songs That Answer Questions”
For years these lyrics have captured my heart in regards to the church.
I have reencoded the song to a much lower quality so you can listen to it. My purpose in doing this is so you can hear the song and then if you want go buy it. IMHO this is the best GVB album and best band line up of all time.

Songs That Answer Questions from Lovin God & Lovin Each Other

Don’t want to spend my life preachin’ sermons
that give answers to the questions no one’s asking anywhere
When there’s so much pain and hurting
there’s no time to be searching
for the needles in the haystacks that aren’t there

I wanna spend my time wearin’ myself out for Jesus
with the news a cure’s been found to heal our land
Stead of making lists, inventing creeds
that aren’t concerned with people’s needs
I’ll show em how to touch the nail scarred hand

Don’t wanna spend my time prayin’ prayers
Bombarding heaven with requests to rain down fire on saints who care
In our methods we may differ, but if Christ the Lord we live for
May we not forget the enemy is OUT THERE.
