Do you remember that old joke… What do you get when you play a country song backwards? You get your wife back, you get your truck back, you get your job back… etc.
Well tonight while working on some stuff from work I had GAC on the TV and it was the Top 20 Countdown. I think I have a new appreciation for country music, this isn’t that depressing breaking marriage crap that it had the rep for being. Granted that stuff is probably still out there but this has been pretty good tonight.
Darryl Worley has got some great stuff, might need to pick up his CD.
LeAnn Rimes has a new album coming out and her new song is really good. Hear it on Hannity’s radio program yesterday and saw the video tonight.
Billy Dean’s “Let Them Be Little” made me almost go wake up Evan and love on him. I’ll just go watch him sleep for a few minutes.
Shania Twain has a new video out. Yikes!
Chely Wright’s “Bumper Of My SUV” is a great song! Hear her on Hannity too a while back, she really backs up her words with her life, she does a lot of the USO tours (or something like it for the Troops).
Josh Gracin, that country guy from American Idol, has a video in the top 10. Guess you don’t have to win to get discovered.
Martina McBride will rip your heart out with her song “God’s Will” – side note, it is so freeing to no longer be putting God in the box I had him in a year and a few months ago. Just need to make sure I don’t put Him in another box.
Now that I have looked at the list on GACTV.com I gotta stay up a bit more to hear Alan Jackson’s “Monday Morning Church”… maybe not, I just looked up the lyrics talk about a depressing song…
Well nite all.
UPDATE – I watched the video, it leaves you with a little bit of hope at the end than what the lyrics indicate.

Well it has been a while since I had a real post. I was thinking this morning on my drive in, maybe I should start audio blogging. It is not that I don’t have things to say or thoughts to process. But it is so time consuming for me to put my thoughts into print. First I have to have my thoughts straight, use correct grammar, watch for typos and make sure I spell stuff right. Do you have any idea how hard all of that is.
Janet is now having weekly appointments with the OB. We may have Joah as soon as Feb 24th! That is really not enough time! There is so much stuff that needs to be done before he arrives.
I am really trying to have a new perspective with the kids and take things as they come and just chill out over stuff. I can tell you now that we will have problems with Zoe when she is a teenager, she is just too much like her old man.
Work is busy, there is so much too do and not enough hours in the day or days in the week for all of it. Projects get pushed aside to do support on other projects that are almost done but just don’t seem to go away. And I still have to go over the stuff from the class I went to before I forget it all. Haven’t even touched the firewall since the class. The SSL-VPN stuff is keeping me pretty buried and I really need to make some progress on the extranet conversion. So I need to run and get back to it… after I add some water to my instant lunch. Yum Yum.

I love the message of this song. I have used it as sermon illustrations a number of times. I was reminded of it today when I read about someone who was still agonizing over a past sin. Need to find a mp3 of this song as I don’t have it in my collection.
It happened so long ago
I cried out for mercy back then.
I plead the blood of Jesus
Begged Him to forgive my sin.
But I still can’t forget it
It just won’t go away.
So I wept again, “Lord, wash my sin,”
But this is all He’d say,
What sin? What sin??
Well, that’s as far away as the east is from the west.
What sin? What sin??
It was gone the very minute you confessed
Buried in the sea of forgetfulness.
The heaviest thing you’ll carry
Is a load of guilt and shame.
You were never meant to bear them
So let them go in Jesus’ name.
Our God is slow to anger
Quick to forgive our sin
So let Him put them under the blood
Don’t bring them up again.
Cause He’ll just say,
What sin? What sin??
Well, that’s as far away as the east is from the west.
What sin? What sin??
It was gone the very minute you confessed
Buried in the sea of forgetfulness.
Lord, please deliver me from my accusing memory.
Nothing makes me weep this way, then when I hear You say,
What sin? What sin??
Well, that’s as far away as the east is from the west.
What sin? What sin??
It was gone the very minute you confessed
Buried in the sea of forgetfulness.

Our Tribe’s General Offices are in Anderson, IN. Hence the title…
FOXNews.com – Plant Fire Forces 5,000 People to Flee
A magnesium fire at a recycling plant burned out of control Friday night, spewing wind-driven toxic fumes and forcing the evacuation of several thousand people from their homes.
Hundreds of firefighters rushed to the Advanced Magnesium Alloys Corp. plant after the fire erupted. Explosions inside forced firefighters out less than three hours later, although they continued working from outside the building, said police spokesman Detective Terry Sollars.
“The whole building is engulfed now,” Sollars said. “It’s a bright glow, it’s burning pretty hard.”
There were no immediate reports of injuries.

You can’t miss “Him” when you are driving on I75 between Cincinnati and Dayton. I am not really sure I understand it either. Is “He” coming out of the pool? Or did “He” sink into it?

Can you imagine coming down the road and seeing this is front of you?!
A boulder some 25 feet high blocks both lanes of the Topanga Caynon Road, Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, as electrical contractors fix broken power and communication lines in Malibu, Calif. No injures where reported, but the road remains closed. The storm system was blamed for at least nine deaths during the weekend in Southern California, including a man killed when his vehicle plunged into the surf off Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, and a homeless man killed when the hillside where his tent was pitched gave way.
