I have a strong Christian faith but keep finding myself outside of mainstream Christianity. I believe that evil is real and have a strong desire to help people find freedom from it through the power and authority of Jesus Christ. Very interested in the paranormal and ghost hunting, as a way to document that there are things beyond our reality and secondly to help people find answers and resolution to the things that go bump in the night.
I am separated but still living in the same house as my wife/ex (married 16 years) and we are still friends. A big part of my life is my children (we have four – m6, m11, f14, f15) and I am working to restore my relationship with them as well as co-parent them with their mother. We also share our house with a mutual friend who is really the third leg of the stool of our household, three of the kids are currently home schooled and he is the head teacher.
The dissolution of our marriage is planned for April as I don’t want my ex to have to spend a ton of money going from my health insurance to hers.
I have been in IT for 14 years, as well as being very (overly) involved in church ministry until just recently. I am trying to find more ways to be a less “plugged-in” all the time.
Over the second half of 2011 I have reinvested greatly in my relationship with Creator God and have found a desire to spend time in prayer and meditation but struggle to make the time to be still, although the ADD medication is starting to help in that regard. 
I see value in all of Christianities many “flavors” and tend to pick the traditions that really speak to me and don’t worry about the ones that don’t – so much of what churches focus on isn’t as big of a deal as we make it. I am primarily focused on having a deeper personal relationship with God and letting Him out of the box I have keep Him in for so many years. His love for me is so much greater than I have or probably can ever realize.
I currently have five tattoos (all have a story behind them) and this number is subject to increase sporadically as there is a great tattoo studio just down the street from my house with some very talented artists, and I already have some appointments scheduled for additional pieces. My ears are pierced and I can currently wear up to a 4G flesh tunnel and hope to get some more piercings as well.
I am very interested in finding other Christians who have had paranormal experiences, interest or even gifts and have been shunned by other believers or even their church. In an effort to assure them that they are NOT alone.
Additionally I am just looking for new friendship and opportunities to try and find activities outside of work or being on a computer all the time. So what better way to do that than have an internet site, oh wait…
