Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. No big marketing push, no gift pressure, just time with family, some good food and reflection on being thankful. This year however I spend most of Thanksgiving in bed (and I am thankful that I could). My throat is KILLING ME. It is all red and white and very sore. Been sticking to the hot liquids for the past few days trying to get it to be better, not much luck there tho.
We are heading back tomorrow morning so we are back home in time to get ready and get to Luke&Jen’s wedding rehersal. Janet and I are invited to the rehersal dinner afterwards but I don’t think we are going to be able to go. So I am thinking we might bring all the kids back with us in the morning and give Janet’s parents a day to be thankful for.

Hope everyone reading this had a great thanksgiving and I hope you survive the next could of weeks of chaos! Oh, and if you aren’t doing anything specific, or even if you are, come spend an hour with us on Dec 24.

well I had to drag the laptop along on vacation. have to get my school work done (and caught up)
so I am pulling the stuff out so I can get to work and guess what I forgot…. the power adapter…
thankfully a gateway power adapter fit and it charging the battery.
now I must be off to get my homework done before my mandatory NCIS break.
